As part of our arrangement we had several options for excursions and we picked the Palm Grove/Clarke Range track, which is about 8 kilometers long. A jeep from the resort to us to the starting point from where we walked and enjoyed fantastic views and great scenery, passing the Piccabeen Palm grove. The track continued over the Clarke Range back to the Broken River which we crossed and experienced fantastic views over Pioneer Valley. In the evening we again saw the Platypus and after dinner in the restaurant of the resort also a Possum who came for our leftovers on the terrace.
