Today was the ride to our final destination Sydney, but before we left Hunter Valley we did a short wine tour early in the morning. Too bad we had a long drive ahead of us as the tour included a wine tasting. Around midday we arrived in Sydney after taking only one wrong exit and without too much problems we arrived at our hotel. The first thing we did was drop off the car at the rental company and then we went to the roof terrace of the hotel which had a magnificent view over the city. We saw an aircraft carrier in the harbour which we wanted to see up close so we walked there, through the park, which turned out to be an exhausting walk but it was worth it. In the evening we went to Sydney Harbour and had dinner at the Hardrock Cafe. Afterwards when walking back to the hotel we had a nightcap in one of the many bars to discuss our plans for the next day.
